Morgan PI 0013617 Right of Way Property Management Services

Background

The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) is seeking bids from pre-qualified firms to provide Demolition and Removal Services for improvements, structures, or other encumbrances in the Right of Way and/or Easement Areas. This solicitation is part of GDOT's mission to maintain and improve public roadways in Georgia. Only firms that hold a current prequalification certificate for Right of Way Property Management Services issued by GDOT are eligible to bid.

Work Details

The selected contractor will be responsible for the complete demolition of structures as outlined in the Asbestos Inspection Reports. This includes: 1. Removing and clearing septic field lines (300-600±LF) from the Right of Way (ROW). 2. Removing coaxial cable and associated wood stakes from the ROW. 3. Clearing 2"x4"x2' height posts from the front left of the parcel. 4. Removing a 30" diameter concrete monolith at grade, approximately 20LF to the right of utilities at the parcel front. 5. Clearing one 13'x1'x1' plastic channel device and one 16'x1'x1' plastic channel device with four re-bar posts each. All demolition debris must be disposed of properly according to Georgia's waste management regulations.

Period of Performance

The work must commence as soon as possible following issuance of the Notice to Proceed and must be completed within thirty (30) days unless modified by GDOT with a purchase change order.

Place of Performance

The contract will be performed in Morgan County, Georgia, specifically at the address 4001 Athens Hwy, Madison, GA 30650.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must hold prequalification status for Right of Way Property Management Services issued by GDOT. A bid response received from any firm not currently listed on GDOT's prequalification listing will not be considered for award. Additionally, bidders must comply with drug-free workplace requirements and provide necessary insurance coverage as specified in the solicitation.
