Background

The Cherokee Nation is the federally recognized government of the Cherokee people, with sovereign status granted by treaty and law. The Nation seeks proposals to provide Custom-Branded Aluminum Water Bottles and Water Refill Stations for the Cherokee National Holiday. Proposals are invited from both Indian and Non-Indian parties, with a preference for those providing proof of current certification from the Cherokee Nation Tribal Employments Office (TERO).

Work Details

The contract includes the provision of Custom-Branded Aluminum Water Bottles and Water Refill Stations specifically for the 2026 Cherokee National Holiday. Vendors must demonstrate previous experience in supplying similar products for events of comparable size and scope. Proposals must include a breakdown of costs by site, monthly costs, and references from at least three previous projects.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence upon award and continue until the end of the Cherokee National Holiday on September 8, 2026. There is an option to renew through September 30, 2030, based on satisfactory performance and funding availability.

Place of Performance

The services will be performed in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, covering areas within the jurisdictional region of the Cherokee Nation.

Bidder Requirements

Vendors must provide proof of TERO certification to qualify for Indian preference. They must also have insurance acceptable to the Nation, including worker's compensation and general liability coverage. Proposals must include a Drug Free Workplace statement.
