Building Repairs - DMA

Background

This solicitation is issued by the Louisiana Department of Military Affairs (DMA) for building repairs at the Regional Staging Area located at 62387 Holloway Rd, Roseland, Louisiana 70456. The goal of the contract is to ensure necessary repairs and maintenance of the facility to support its operational readiness.

Work Details

The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, supervision, and services necessary to perform the following tasks: - Patch and paint the interior walls and ceiling; - Replace gable end vinyl siding and vents; - Replace soffit and fascia; - Repair roof overhang on the eastern gable end; - Replace the existing roof with a metal roof as per Attachment C - Specifications.

Period of Performance

The contract is expected to commence upon award and will be performed until completion as specified in the bid documents. The opening date for bids is set for June 16, 2026.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed at the DMA Regional Staging Area located at 62387 Holloway Rd, Roseland, Louisiana 70456.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must have a valid Contractor's License Number in appropriate classifications such as Building Construction and/or Roofing and Sheet Metal. A jobsite visit is mandatory prior to bid submission. Bids must include a bid security of 5% of the total amount bid if it exceeds $50,000. Vendors must be registered in the LaGov vendor system.
