Mirror Pads with carrying case for DBVI

Background

The Department for Blind and Vision Impaired (DBVI) is seeking to establish a one-year contract with a contractor to supply mirror pads with carrying cases for their Evaluation Lab. This procurement is essential for maintaining adequate inventory to support instructional and accessibility needs statewide, particularly for students utilizing these devices.

Work Details

The contractor shall provide five (5) brand-specific, new Irie Mirror Pad Pro units with carrying cases. The requirements include:

Brand Name

Irie-AT - Condition: New only (no refurbished, used, demo, or reconditioned units will be accepted)

Manufacturer Item Number

MIR-PAD-PRO - Total quantity needed: 5 - Accessories required with each unit: Power Adaptor, battery, carrying case, cables (USC Type C and Lightning). All units must be delivered no later than June 19, 2026. Shipping prices per unit must be specified in the eVA response.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence upon award and will last for one (1) year with no optional renewal periods.

Bidder Requirements

This solicitation is set aside as a Small Business Set-Aside for Award Priority. Bidders must be registered in eVA prior to submitting a bid. The contractor must comply with federal regulations including 2 CFR § 200.313 regarding equipment requirements and must not be debarred from contracting with the Commonwealth of Virginia.
