The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) is soliciting bids from qualified firms to furnish and deliver Polypropylene (PP) Double Walled Pipe on an as-needed basis. The goal of this contract is to provide Type S, double wall, corrugated outer and smooth interior wall pipe that conforms to AASHTO M330 standards. This procurement is part of VDOT's mission to maintain and improve transportation infrastructure in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
The contractor shall furnish and deliver Polypropylene HDPP Dual Wall Pipe as described in the specifications. The pipe must conform to AASHTO M330 standards for nominal diameters ranging from 12 inches through 60 inches. Deliveries will be made to various locations within the Culpeper District, including Louisa, Warrenton, and Charlottesville Residencies. The contractor must ensure that all pipe is manufactured by companies listed on the VDOT Materials Division approved list. Each pipe must be clearly marked with the manufacturer's name, nominal size, plant designation code, specification designation code AASHTO MP21, and date of manufacture. The estimated quantities are based on need and will be delivered as requested.
The initial term of the contract will be one year from the date of award, with four optional one-year renewals available.
The work will be performed within the Culpeper District of Virginia, specifically at locations designated by VDOT including Louisa Residency (covering Louisa, Fluvanna, and Orange Counties), Warrenton Residency (covering Culpeper, Fauquier, and Rappahannock Counties), and Charlottesville Residency (covering Madison, Greene, and Albemarle Counties).
Bidders must submit a Small Business Subcontracting Plan (SBSP) if they are not certified as a small business by the Department of Small Business and Supplier Diversity at the time of bid closing. Bidders must also be registered in eVA for electronic bidding. Additionally, bidders must comply with all applicable laws regarding discrimination in employment practices.
