Ambulatory & Medical Transportation Services

Background

The City and County of San Francisco, through its Human Services Agency (HSA), is seeking proposals for Ambulatory & Medical Transportation Services specifically for Public Conservator Clients. The goal of this contract is to provide essential transportation services that include gurney and soft restraint capacity to ensure the safe transport of clients under the care of the Office of the Public Conservator.

Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for providing Client Transportation Services, which includes: - Ambulatory transportation for clients who are able to walk. - Medical transportation services that accommodate clients requiring gurney transport or soft restraints. - Ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and standards for patient safety and care during transport.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence on a date specified in the final agreement and will continue for a term that may include options for renewal as specified by the City.

Place of Performance

Services will be performed within the geographic boundaries of San Francisco, California, specifically catering to clients under the jurisdiction of the Office of the Public Conservator.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must comply with Local Business Enterprise (LBE) participation requirements, which may apply unless waived. Additionally, contractors must have appropriate insurance coverage, including General Liability Insurance, Auto Liability Insurance, Workers’ Compensation Insurance, and any other relevant policies as determined by the City’s Risk Management Division.
