DAT | Victim of Crime Survivor Services Grant

Background

The San Francisco District Attorney's Office, Victim Services Division (SFDA VSD) is seeking a highly qualified community-based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization to provide innovative and culturally responsive services to individuals impacted by violence and crime, particularly focusing on the LGBTQ community. The goal of this contract is to establish a partnership that enhances the delivery of victim survivor services in San Francisco, aligning with the agency's mission and values.

Work Details

The selected organization will be responsible for delivering responsive services to individuals affected by violence and crime. This includes but is not limited to: providing support for victims, facilitating access to resources, and ensuring culturally competent care tailored to the needs of diverse populations. The organization must demonstrate a commitment to collaboration with SFDA VSD and other community partners.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence on August 1, 2026, and will continue until July 30, 2029.

Place of Performance

Services will be performed in San Francisco, California.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must be a San Francisco city-approved vendor or apply through a fiscal agent that is a San Francisco city-approved vendor. They must also demonstrate at least two years of experience providing services to LGBTQ victims of crime or those exposed to violence. Additionally, bidders are required to comply with the Health Care Accountability Ordinance (HCAO) and Minimum Compensation Ordinance (MCO).
