Furnish and Deliver Fluorosilicic Acid to the Erie County Water Authority for Use in the Treatment of Water for One Year

Background

The Erie County Water Authority is responsible for providing safe drinking water to the residents of Erie County, New York. This contract aims to furnish and deliver Fluorosilicic Acid for use in the treatment of water at two treatment plants: Sturgeon Point Water Treatment Plant and Van De Water Treatment Plant. The contract is essential for maintaining water quality standards and ensuring public health.

Work Details

The contractor will be required to furnish, deliver, and unload Fluorosilicic Acid F.O.B. (Free On Board) to the following locations: - Sturgeon Point Water Treatment Plant located at 722 Sturgeon Point Road, Derby, New York 14047 - Van De Water Treatment Plant located at 3750 River Road (Route 266), Town of Tonawanda, New York 14150. The delivery period is for one year.

Period of Performance

The contract will be performed from August 1, 2026, through July 31, 2027. There is a potential for two additional one-year extensions based on the approval of the Authority’s Board of Commissioners.

Place of Performance

The contract will be performed at the Sturgeon Point Water Treatment Plant in Derby, New York, and the Van De Water Treatment Plant in Town of Tonawanda, New York.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must submit a certified check or bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of their bid amount. Additionally, bidders are required to comply with State Finance Law §§139-j and 139-k regarding questions about bidding documents.
