Work Requested

The project involves renovations and decommissioning services for Building 29 at the Institute for Basic Research (IBR), located at 1050 Forest Hill Rd, Staten Island, New York. E.W. Howell Co., LLC is seeking interest from qualified firms particularly those certified as NYS Minority/Women-Owned Business Enterprises (M/WBE) and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses (SDVOB) to potentially participate in this upcoming contract. The specific work will include, but may not be limited to: - Renovation activities within Building 29 - Decommissioning services as required by the project scope Who is Requesting: This is a subcontract opportunity issued by E.W. Howell Co., LLC, in support of the Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD).

Background

The solicitation is in the preliminary planning phase and is intended to support the OPWDD's goals for diversity participation in public contracts. E.W. Howell Co., LLC is providing early notice to identify qualified firms in advance of the formal Request for Proposal (RFP) release.
