Background The Bakersfield VA Clinic is part of the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System, which provides a range of services including primary care, audiology, and specialty services. The clinic has a requirement for hearing analyzer equipment to support its audiology clinic, aiming to improve patient care by ensuring that hearing aids fit correctly and meet patients' hearing needs. Work Details The contractor shall provide four (4) Hearing Aid Analyzers that meet or exceed the following specifications: - Must include software-assisted probe tube placement. - Must have guided workflow for hearing instrument verification. - Must support wideband audiogram entry and verification up to 12.5 kHz. - Must include fitting software for verifying and adjusting hearing instruments against clinical targets. - Noah module compatibility for transferring audiometry data and generating PDF reports. - Remote operation capability on PC and teleaudiology compatibility. - Must include a dedicated counseling tool for patient education and sensory loss simulation features. - Equipment dimensions: 6.5”D x 14”W x 16”H. - Additional items included: 12.1" diagonal display unit, binaural test box, probe dock, probe microphone, WRECD transducer, adapters, quick connect couplers, monitor headphones.
