(1) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the FAR Overhaul Subpart 12.202(b), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation/synopsis reference number is W50S6S26QA004 and is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). (2) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAR Overhaul on Acquisition.gov (3) This is a limited source competitive acquisition to small and large business. This solicitation is restricted to vendors that are currently approved by Hill AFB Engineering for F-16 radar foam repair in accordance with FAR 9.202. Offers from unapproved sources will be deemed technically unacceptable. The associated NAICS code is 336413 with a 1,250-employee size std. Background This solicitation is issued by the United States Air Force for the repair of F-16 radar foam.
