The State of Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) is seeking to establish a term contract for Automotive Parts and Repair for Light Duty Vehicles statewide. This initiative aims to ensure that various state agencies have access to necessary automotive parts and repair services, thereby supporting their operational needs effectively.
The contractor will provide services across four categories: 1) OEM Parts, 2) OEM Labor and Repair, 3) Vehicle Labor and Repair with non-OEM parts, and 4) Auto Body Repair. Specific services include: exhaust systems, lighting & electrical systems, belts & hoses, filters & PVC valves, suspensions, alignments and steering systems, brake systems, fuel systems & emissions, charging & starting systems, cooling & heating systems, ignition & tune-up services, power train systems (engine, transmission & transaxle), engine parts & mounts, oils and lubrication systems, auto body repair including paint work, and preventative maintenance. The contractor must ensure that all parts are new and conform to OEM specifications unless otherwise approved. Delivery requirements include same-day service within six hours for urgent requests and routine service delivery within five working days. The contractor must also provide labor rates in accordance with the Offer Response Form.
The contract will commence on the effective day of award and continue for a period of twelve months (12), with the possibility of extension for up to forty-eight (48) additional months.
Services will be performed statewide across various locations as designated by the Arizona Department of Transportation.
Bidders must comply with specific insurance requirements including Commercial General Liability with minimum coverage limits of $1 million per occurrence; Business Automobile Liability; Workers’ Compensation; and Employers’ Liability. Additionally, contractors must provide proof of insurance within ten days of contract award. The contractor must also adhere to safety standards as outlined by OSHA and other relevant regulations.
