Background

The Waukesha County Department of Public Works is seeking an engineering/design consulting firm to assist in the facility development process for the modernization and expansion of the CTH K Corridor between CTH JK and Brookfield Road. This project has received federal funding approval for Phase 1, which covers the area from Executive Drive to Sussex Creek. The goal is to create preliminary and final plans, PS&E documents, and reports to guide this development.

Work Details

The Consultant will provide a range of services including: 1. Field operations in compliance with OSHA regulations. 2. Preparation of a Design Study Report as per the MANUALS. 3. Environmental documentation assessing probable impacts and preparing necessary documentation upon municipal concurrence. 4. Coordination with utilities and railroads as required. 5. Conducting surveys tied into specified coordinate systems. 6. Preparing soils reports and recommending additional subsurface services if necessary. 7. Developing a Public Involvement Plan and maintaining logs of public engagement activities. 8. Scheduling and attending required meetings and conferences. 9. Preparing Plans, Specifications, and Estimates (P.S.&E.) as outlined in the MANUALS.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence upon authorization from the municipality and will continue until all services are completed, with specific timelines for various phases outlined in the contract documents.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed in the Villages of Sussex, Lisbon, Menomonee Falls, and the City of Brookfield within Waukesha County, Wisconsin.
