Background

The Commonwealth of Kentucky, through the Division of Equipment, is issuing this solicitation for the procurement of Portable and Stationary Air Compressors. The goal is to establish a master agreement contract that includes optional annual renewals. This contract aims to provide essential equipment to various divisions and agencies within the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.

Work Details

The contract involves the supply of the following items: 1. **Portable Air Compressor** - Quantity: 5 units - Specifications: Minimum 24 CFM actual free-air delivery, maximum operating pressure of 175 psi, equipped with a minimum 13 HP gasoline engine (equivalent to Honda GX390), 30-gallon ASME receiver tank, and necessary accessories including a start-up kit. - Suggested model: BelAire Model 3G3HHL or approved equal. 2. **Stationary Air Compressor (Single Phase)** - Quantity: 5 units - Specifications: Minimum 24 CFM actual free-air delivery, maximum operating pressure of 175 psi, equipped with a minimum 7.5 HP electric engine and an 80-gallon ASME receiver tank. - Suggested model: BelAire Model 318VLE or approved equal. 3. **Stationary Air Compressor (Three Phase)** - Quantity: 2 units - Specifications: Similar to the single-phase compressor but designed for three-phase operation. - Suggested model: BelAire Model 338VLE or approved equal. 4. **Hose Reel** - Quantity: 4 units - Specifications: Retractable hose reel with 50 feet of 3/8 ID hose equivalent to Reelcraft model RT650-OLP.

Period of Performance

The initial contract period will begin upon award and expire on May 31, 2026. There is an option for four additional one-year renewal periods subject to mutual agreement.

Place of Performance

Delivery will be made to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet Division of Equipment located at Frankfort, KY.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must provide evidence of insurance coverage including Commercial General Liability Insurance with minimum limits of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate. Additionally, bidders must be registered in the Commonwealth eProcurement System via the Vendor Self Service System prior to bid submission.
