Background The Department of Transportation and Public Facilities, Division of Maintenance and Operations, is soliciting bids for the maintenance of the Allakaket Rural Airport in Alaska. The purpose of this contract is to ensure the airport remains operational and accessible during the winter months, aligning with the agency's mission to maintain safe and efficient transportation infrastructure. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for winter maintenance of the airport facility, which includes state-owned equipment, building structures, and roadways located on airport property. Maintaining all state runways, taxiways, aprons, safety areas, access roads, lighting systems, and buildings at the airport. 3.
