Background The Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS) is seeking to establish a contract for on-site preventative maintenance and calibration of its forensic laboratory balances and scales. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for performing quarterly on-site preventative maintenance and calibration of a total of 53 DPS forensic laboratory balances and scales located at various regional crime labs: - 22 at the Central Regional Crime Lab in Phoenix, AZ - 18 at the Southern Regional Crime Lab in Tucson, AZ - 10 at the Northern Regional Crime Lab in Flagstaff, AZ - 3 at the Western Regional Crime Lab in Lake Havasu City, AZ. The contractor must hold ISO/IEC 17025:2017 certification and have experience with calibrations specifically in forensic laboratories. The contract is a fixed price term, indefinite quantity type contract, meaning that while there is no guarantee of specific quantities or spending, services will be provided as needed. Period of Performance The contract term will commence upon award and will remain effective for one year, with potential extensions up to a maximum total term of five years by mutual agreement.
