Background The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) is seeking Portable Restroom Unit Rental Services to support its mission of maintaining public access to its facilities. This contract aims to ensure that all ADOT-managed properties remain operational during service disruptions caused by unforeseen events such as power outages or plumbing issues. The services will help prevent closures of Arizona's rest areas and maintain accessibility for the public and employees. Work Details The contractor will provide Portable Restroom Units, including ADA-compliant standard and trailer units, hand wash stations, and additional equipment such as portable lighting, temporary fencing, and potable water delivery. Key requirements include: 1. Setup and dismantling of units at specified locations. 2. A four-hour electronic/phone response time and a 24-hour on-site response time during service disruptions. 3. Maintenance and repairs to ensure functionality of rental units. 4. Provision of necessary supplies (toilet paper, hand sanitizer) for the duration of the rental. 5. Temporary fencing around rented equipment as needed. 6. Compliance with safety and sanitary conditions as per federal, state, and local regulations. Period of Performance The contract will commence on the effective date of award and continue for a period of twelve months (12), with potential extensions up to forty-eight months (48) upon mutual agreement. Place of Performance Services will be performed at various ADOT-managed properties throughout the State of Arizona. Bidder Requirements Bidders must comply with specific insurance requirements including Commercial General Liability, Business Automobile Liability, Workers’ Compensation, and Employers’ Liability coverage. Additionally, contractors must provide a Certificate of Insurance within five calendar days of contract award. The contractor must ensure that all subcontractors have valid insurance coverage.
