Background The City of Garland is soliciting proposals for the GP&L Brand to Ben Davis Structures. The contract aims to design, fabricate, test, package, ship, and deliver tubular steel structures necessary for supporting electrical transmission lines. This project is part of Garland Power and Light's mission to enhance its infrastructure and service delivery. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for the following: 1. Design and fabrication of tapered and tubular steel structures including anchor bolts and ground connectors as specified in the contract drawings. 2. Compliance with standards from AISC, ASCE, ASTM, and AWS for materials and construction practices. 3. Delivery of anchor bolts by September 1, 2026, and structures by September 22, 2026. 4.
