Electrical Preventive Maintenance and Thermographic Services

Background

The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is issuing this solicitation to establish a contract for electrical preventive maintenance and thermographic services at their Maintenance Facility located at 6230 E Stassney Ln., Austin, TX 78744. The goal of this contract is to ensure the safety and reliability of electrical systems through regular maintenance and inspections.

Work Details

The contractor will provide the following services: electrical preventive maintenance, inspections, thermographic studies, and reporting. Specific tasks include performing low voltage distribution preventive maintenance, medium voltage distribution preventive maintenance, instrument transformer testing, automatic transfer switch maintenance, and thermographic/infrared scanning. The contractor must demonstrate the ability to perform these tasks as outlined in Attachment A - Service Requirements.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence upon award on September 1, 2026, and will continue for a specified duration as outlined in the final agreement.

Place of Performance

All services will be performed at the TxDOT Maintenance Facility located at 6230 E Stassney Ln., Austin, TX 78744.

Bidder Requirements

Respondents must be in good financial standing and current in payment of all taxes and fees. They must submit three years of audited financial statements or un-audited financial statements certified by an officer of the company. Additionally, TxDOT has determined that subcontracting opportunities are probable in connection with this solicitation.
