Background

The City of Phoenix is seeking qualifications for the Laveen Flood Mitigation Program (GO BOND), aimed at implementing comprehensive flood management solutions across multiple sites within the city. The program is guided by findings from the 2017 Laveen Area Drainage Master Study/Plan Update and the 2022 Laveen Area Drainage Feasibility Study. Work Details

The consultant will provide engineering services including design and possible construction administration and inspection at three locations: 1) **15th Avenue**: Design a storm drain system to improve conveyance capacity. 2) **Lindo Park Storm Drain Connection**: Create a storm drain reliever system to enhance neighborhood drainage performance. 3) **35th Avenue and Olney Conveyance Improvements**: Design an engineered channel along Olney Road and a storm drain system along 35th Avenue. The scope includes detailed site investigations, assessments of existing drainage conditions, development of preliminary design concepts, preparation of engineering designs, public outreach, right-of-way services, post-design services including contractor procurement assistance, and possible construction administration and inspection services.

The contract will be performed over an estimated duration leading up to the completion date of July 6, 2026.

Place of Performance

The projects will be executed in various locations within the City of Phoenix, specifically along 15th Avenue from Dobbins Road to Olney Avenue, at Lindo Park, and along 35th Avenue near Olney Road.
