Background

Pinal County is seeking submissions from qualified newspapers to establish an annual contract for the publication of legal notices. The selected newspaper will serve as the 'Official Newspaper' of the County, fulfilling the mission to ensure transparency and public awareness regarding legal matters.

Work Details

The successful vendor will be responsible for printing and/or publishing all public legal notices and advertising required by law. This includes, but is not limited to: - Election proclamations - Legal notices regarding statutory matters of the Board of Supervisors - Resolutions - Summons - Notices of sale - Delinquent tax lists - Special notices - Calls for bids - Any other matters mandated for publication by the Board of Supervisors or county departments. The vendor must maintain a valid affidavit confirming compliance with Arizona Revised Statutes regarding newspaper publication standards. Additionally, they are required to provide affidavits of publication within ten days of each notice published and must republish any incorrect notices at no charge.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence on August 5, 2026, and will remain in effect until August 4, 2027.

Place of Performance

Services will be performed within Pinal County, Arizona.

Bidder Requirements

Vendors must demonstrate that they have been established and published in Pinal County for at least one year prior to submission. They are also required to submit a Certificate of Good Standing from the Arizona Corporation Commission. Compliance with all local, state, and federal laws applicable to this contract is mandatory.
