The County of Mendocino Department of Transportation is issuing this contract for the 2026 Corrective/Preventative Maintenance on various county roads in the Casper area. Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for performing corrective and preventative maintenance on several county roads, including: 1) Comptche Ukiah Road (CR 223) from M.P. 10.00 to M.P. 24.25; 2) Caspar Little Lake Road (CR 409) from M.P. 0.00 to M.P. 3.30; 3) Point Cabrillo Drive (CR 564) from M.P. 0.00 to M.P. 2.92; 4) Fern Creek Road (CR 411A) from M.P. 0.00 to M.P. 0.97; 5) Caspar Orchard Road (CR 410) from M.P. 0.00 to M.P. 0.95; 6) Caspar Road (CR 569) from M.P. 0.00 to M.P. 0.78; 7) Caspar Street (CR 410E) from M.P. 0.00 to M.P. 0.23. The work includes: - Mobilization - Development of water supply - Installation of construction area signs - Implementation of a traffic control system - Water pollution control program - Application of polymer asphaltic emulsion and screenings for chip seal top wear courses - Painting traffic stripes and pavement markings in specified colors and dimensions.

Period of Performance

The contract period will commence upon award and is expected to be completed by July 9, 2026.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must possess a valid State of California license 'A' - General Engineering or C-12 Earthwork and Paving at the time the contract is awarded, and must be registered to perform public work pursuant to Section 1725.5 of the Labor Code of California.
