Work Details

The contractor will provide all labor, supervision, tools, and equipment necessary for custodial services at the Fireweed Public Works Facility, which encompasses approximately 8,500 square feet across three floors. Services include: - Daily cleaning of offices and public areas: emptying trash cans, spot cleaning walls and windowsills, cleaning kitchen areas and restrooms, sanitizing light switches and door handles, sweeping and mopping hard floors, vacuuming carpets, and ensuring security by locking doors. - Weekly tasks include cleaning inside microwaves and maintaining cleanliness in custodial storage closets. - Specific requirements for restrooms include thorough cleaning of sinks, toilets, urinals, mirrors, refilling dispensers, and mopping floors. - The contractor must supply industrial-grade equipment such as vacuum cleaners and floor scrubbers. - All cleaning supplies will be provided by the Matanuska-Susitna Borough but must adhere to Safety Data Sheet (SDS) requirements.

Period of Performance
