Background The contract is issued for the procurement of a Joint Lightweight Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) driving simulator. The agency aims to enhance training capabilities for military personnel by providing a realistic simulation environment that mirrors the operational characteristics of the JLTV. This simulator is intended to support advanced training scenarios and mission-based exercises, thereby improving readiness and operational effectiveness. Work Details The seller shall provide one (1) new JLTV driving simulator assembly, which must meet the following specifications: - Fully compatible with OEM parts used on a JLTV. - Installation responsibility lies with the seller, ensuring all areas are taped off for easy installation. - All wires must be neatly stowed away, avoiding high foot traffic areas. - DSDU emulator assembly with forward and rear camera views and five interactive control screens. - Must include CTIS functionality, fording capability, SAES functionality, drivetrain and axle lock-up controls. - Accurate placement of vehicle components and operator field of view as in a drivable JLTV. - Capability to operate in advanced training scenarios and mission-based exercises. Included components: - Three (3) 55” LED flat screen displays (225º field-of-view). - Remote Controlled side-view mirror adjustment. - Virtual training environment featuring paved areas, dirt roads, and off-road areas. - Introductory training scenarios package. - True Steer™ digital servo steering system. - 6-speed automatic transmission. - Two-Way radio. - Simulated functional DSDU (Driver’s Side Display Unit).
