Work Details

The selected Architect/Engineer (A/E) will provide a range of services under this contract, which may include: A. Evaluations, analysis, recommendations, cost and time estimates, reports, feasibility studies, preparation of schematic or preliminary designs, field inspections and investigations related to soils and construction testing. B. Responding to review agency comments and resolving design issues prior to submission of construction documents. C. Providing complete contract documents for small project designs as per the A/E Manual procedures. D. Investigating problems related to soils and construction testing and preparing recommendations for corrective actions. E. Preparing cost estimates for proposed projects related to soils and construction testing. F. Conducting feasibility studies for proposed projects related to soils and construction testing. G. Other professional services consistent with the intent of the RFP.

Period of Performance

The contract will be effective for one year from the date of execution with an option for three additional one-year renewals.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed statewide across Virginia.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must be registered vendors in eVA (Virginia's electronic procurement system). The agency encourages participation from small businesses certified by the Department of Small Business and Supplier Diversity (DSBSD), with a target goal of 42% on discretionary spending.
