Armed Security Guard Service -LDH-Reg 7

Background

The Louisiana Department of Health (LDH) is seeking to establish a service contract for Armed Security Guard Services for the Medical Vendor Administration. The goal of this contract is to ensure the safety and security of personnel and property at designated locations in Region 7, specifically at 3020 Knight Street, Shreveport, LA. This solicitation aims to provide armed security services during specified hours to maintain a secure environment.

Work Details

The contractor will provide armed security guard services as follows: - One (1) armed guard will be present on-site from Monday through Friday, between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM. - The total quantity of service hours required is 2,200 hours for the fiscal year 2027. - The minimum wage for guards is set at $18.00 per hour. - Services must comply with all applicable federal and state laws and regulations.

Period of Performance

The initial period of performance for this contract will begin on July 1, 2026, or the date of award, whichever is later. It will end on June 30, 2027. The contract may be renewed for two additional 12-month periods at the same prices, with a total contract duration not exceeding 36 months.

Place of Performance

The services will be performed at the LDH Medical Vendor Administration located at 3020 Knight Street, Shreveport, LA 71105.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must be licensed with the Louisiana State Board of Private Security Examiners to be considered for award. Bidders should submit their current license along with their bid response.
