RTA 2 Dry Dock

Background

The Regional Transit Authority (RTA) is inviting qualified vendors to submit bids for the RTA 2 Dry Dock project, which is part of their Ferry Services. This Invitation for Bids (IFB-2026-016) aims to ensure that the RTA can maintain and operate its ferry services effectively. The RTA is committed to nondiscrimination and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, particularly concerning the utilization of Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs).

Work Details

The contract will be a fixed price agreement covering all labor, materials, supplies, services, tools, and equipment necessary for the ferry RTA 2 Dry dock. Bidders must submit various documents including:

Period of Performance

The contract period will be defined in the contract agreement following the bid award. Bids must be submitted by June 25, 2026.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed at the Regional Transit Authority facilities located in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must comply with federal regulations including Buy America requirements and are encouraged to utilize minority and women-owned banks. There are no established DBE goals for this project due to the absence of subcontracting opportunities. All bidders must provide proof of insurance coverage as specified.
