Background

The County of San Diego is seeking quotes from qualified firms to provide outfitting for two (2) 2024 Ford F-450 trucks. This request is part of the County's ongoing efforts to maintain and enhance its fleet for operational efficiency. The procurement aims to ensure that the outfitted vehicles meet specific operational requirements as outlined in the Statement of Work.

Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for outfitting two (2) 2024 Ford F-450 Regular Cab, Dual Rear Wheel trucks with the following specifications: 1. Two (2) Spitzlift cranes TD-324 with 10’ pendant controller, or County approved equivalent. 2. 3’ Boom DC Powered Crane, assembled with 20’ mil spec grade webbing with a 1.25-ton hook, latch, pendant, DC connect and wiring harness. 3. Post Master Adapter, 26” DPHBS-026 or County approved equivalent. 4. Pedestal, 10”x 12” Horizontal Universal Surface Mount, 900 lbs. max capacity, KPB-1012 or County approved equivalent. 5. Reinforcement Installation Kit KPB-1012H for 10”x12” Surface Plate Pedestal. All systems and components must be new and unused with full manufacturer’s warranties effective from the date of acceptance by the county.

Period of Performance

The contractor must provide an actual completion date within ten (10) days after receipt of the purchase order or fully executed contract.

Place of Performance

The outfitting will take place at the County of San Diego's designated location at DGS Fleet Services, 5610 Overland Avenue, San Diego, CA 92123.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must submit completed forms including Offeror’s Cover Page (PC600), Representations and Certifications form (PC601), Small-Local Business Self-Certification Form (PC610), Nondisclosure Indemnification Agreement (PC620), and a completed Pricing Schedule.
