The City of Lubbock, through its Community Development department, is seeking bids from qualified vendors to conduct a Lead Based Paint Inspection and Risk Assessment for a single-family residential home located at 718 31st St, Lubbock, TX 79404. This initiative aims to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations regarding lead-based paint in residential properties.

Work Details

The contractor will perform the following tasks as part of the Lead Based Paint Inspection and Risk Assessment: 1. Provide a detailed drawing and layout of the house, including measurements of each room and locations for dust and soil sampling. 2. Conduct dust wipe sampling in each room using an NLLAP accredited laboratory. 3. Collect soil samples from each side of the house where bare soil exists and from any play areas. 4. Deliver a summary notice of the inspection results along with all findings from XRF testing and laboratory results. 5. Provide a paper copy of the inspection report to the homeowner, who must sign a 'Notice of Evaluation' form that will be included in the final report. 6. Email a PDF copy of the entire report to the assigned inspector at the City of Lubbock's Community Development Department.
