Background

The Texas Military Department (TMD) is seeking competitive bids from highly qualified contractors to provide labor and materials for the installation of power at the Army Aviation Support Facility (AASF) located at 10901 Brantley Avenue, Houston, Texas 77034. The goal of this contract is to enable the operation of clam-shell hangar doors, fan and ventilation systems, and mechanical tools and diagnostic equipment.

Work Details

Contractor must install power from the north side of building 1183 AASF hanger to the Aviation Large Area Maintenance Shelter (ALAMS). Specific tasks include: 1. Installing new electrical metallic tubing (EMT) conduit up the wall, over the roof, and down the east wall from building 1183 to a new work box at ALAMS. 2. Running oil-resistant cable with twist locks inside cable protection trays from building 1183 to ALAMS and connecting it to the existing panel. 3. Installing power using voltages of 120, 208, and 230 volts over an approximate distance of 100 yards. 4. Ensuring compliance with local utility provider requirements and performing a pre-work walk-through with TMD Project Manager.

Period of Performance

The contractor must complete all services within 30 calendar days from the start date, which will be determined upon contract award.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed at Ellington Field Army Aviation Support Facility (AASF), located at 10901 Brantley Avenue, Houston, Texas 77034.

Bidder Requirements

Contractors must be licensed master electricians, insured, and bonded. They are required to provide all applicable licenses and insurance documentation with their bid submission.
