Greene County is issuing a solicitation for the Apron Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Project (Phase II) at the Greene County Regional Airport. The project aims to complete the pavement rehabilitation and reconstruction of the terminal apron that was not addressed in previous phases of the apron expansion and rehabilitation project. The goal is to enhance the airport's infrastructure, ensuring safety and functionality.
The project involves two primary pavement rehabilitation methods: 1) Standard mill and overlay for areas with significant pavement structure, 2) Full depth reclamation for the oldest sections of pavement that have little to no existing structure. This work will complete the terminal apron rehabilitation not covered in phases 1-3.
The construction contract time, if awarded, will be completed within thirty-five (35) consecutive calendar days from the date of Notice-to-Proceed.
The work will be performed at Greene County Regional Airport, located at 2550 Union Point Highway, Greensboro, GA 30642.
Bidders must provide bid security in the form of a bid bond equal to five (5) percent of the total bid. Additionally, contract security in the form of 100% Performance and Payment Bonds will be required. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of one hundred twenty (120) days after closing time for receipt of proposals.
