Background The Wilmington VA Medical Center, located at 1601 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, DE, requires elevator maintenance services to ensure the proper functioning and safety of its elevator systems. The goal of this contract is to provide comprehensive maintenance, inspection, repair, and testing services in accordance with the manufacturer's original specifications. Work Details The Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, transportation, equipment, materials, tools, supplies, supervision, incidental engineering, and management to perform the following tasks: inspections, testing, maintenance, repair, and component replacement for elevators. This includes full maintenance services under a firm fixed price that covers all service requirements including routine and emergency service calls. Emergency services are defined as work performed outside normal business hours (7am - 3:30pm Monday through Friday) and require prior written approval from the Contracting Officer (CO) or Contracting Officer Representative (COR). Exclusions from routine maintenance include repairs due to natural disasters or vandalism unless they create an emergency situation. The Contractor is responsible for all items not specifically excluded under the contract. Place of Performance All work will be performed at the Wilmington VA Medical Center located at 1601 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, DE.
