Background The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region 1, New England Regional Laboratory (NERL) is seeking to procure a Dionex ICS-6000 Ion Chromatograph System to analyze common anions and cations in water samples. This acquisition supports the agency's mission to ensure environmental protection and compliance with federal regulations. Work Details The contract requires the delivery of a Thermo Electron Dionex Ion Chromatograph System, which includes the following specifications: - The system must be an Ion Chromatograph utilizing one or more conductivity detectors. - It must perform EPA method 300.0 Rev 2.1. - Capable of analyzing cations and anions simultaneously or independently. - Must perform instrument dilutions and include an eluent generator. - Ion suppression for both anions and cations is required. - The system must operate at high pressure (5,000 psi) and utilize a 2 mm internal diameter column. - Software must export data to .csv or other LIMS compatible files and flag manual peak manipulations. - Installation assistance and training for at least two government employees are required within two weeks of delivery. The vendor will also aid in developing comparable report outputs and calibration curves with r=0.990 or greater.
