Work Details The contractor will provide accredited in-person classroom-based TSCA Lead-Based Paint Abatement Certification Training in the following disciplines: Lead Abatement Worker, Lead Abatement Project Supervisor, Lead Inspector, and Lead Risk Assessor. The training will cover background information on lead and its health effects, work area preparation, waste handling and disposal, personal protective equipment, clearance examination requirements, and lead abatement methods. The contractor is responsible for planning and securing classroom space, advertising the courses, managing course registration, delivering course materials, verifying student knowledge, and providing certificates to participants who successfully complete the training. Period of Performance This is an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a period of performance of five (5) years. Place of Performance The training will take place in EPA Region 1 Boston, specifically at locations approved by the State of Maine.
