Irrigation Services (Flood)

Background

The Mesa Unified School District #4 is seeking bids for flood irrigation services to maintain the landscape environment across its 50 sites, covering approximately 200 square miles. The district currently averages about 7,000 hours of flood irrigation annually, provided by two separate water delivery companies. The goal of this contract is to ensure a pleasing and desirable appearance of the landscape through comprehensive flood irrigation services.

Work Details

The contractor will provide flood irrigation services based on an hourly rate. This includes maintaining all applicable sites within the district to ensure optimal landscape appearance. Bidder Requirements

Bidders must comply with Arizona Transaction Privilege Tax requirements and provide necessary certifications including compliance with federal immigration laws (E-Verify), non-discrimination policies, and other state laws. Additionally, contractors must obtain a valid fingerprint clearance card if providing services at district schools regularly. Contractors are also required to maintain appropriate insurance coverage including general liability and workers' compensation.
