Carpet & Gymnastic Mat Cleaning

Background

The City of Columbus is seeking to establish an Indefinite Quantity Agreement for Commercial Carpet and Gymnastic Mat Cleaning Services. The purpose of this contract is to provide cleaning services on an as-needed basis, with an estimated annual budget of up to $50,000. This estimate serves for bidding purposes only and does not guarantee any minimum purchase amount. The agreement will expire on May 31, 2027.

Work Details

The contractor will provide cleaning services for commercial carpets and gymnastic mats across various city locations. Specific requirements include: - Pricing must be provided per square foot, along with any additional charges or fees not covered in the lines. - All charges not specifically listed will not be approved for payment if a purchase order is awarded. - Services are to be performed at designated locations including but not limited to Champions Golf Course and various community centers where gymnastic mats are located. The estimated square footage for cleaning includes multiple areas such as event spaces, dining rooms, and restrooms.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence upon acceptance of an offer and will continue until May 31, 2027.

Cleaning services will be performed at various locations in Columbus, Ohio, including community centers and the Champions Golf Course.

Bidder Requirements

Vendors must demonstrate compliance with responsible wage standards starting January 1, 2024, set at $21.33 per hour for 2026. Additionally, vendors must provide health insurance benefits to their employees.
