Background Eastern New Mexico University is seeking to procure professional immigration support services to assist with employment-based immigration matters for faculty and specialized staff. The goal of this contract is to ensure timely, accurate, and legally compliant federal immigration filings that support the University’s recruitment and retention of qualified personnel. Work Details The contractor will provide comprehensive immigration support services including: preparation, review, and submission of federal filings related to H-1B nonimmigrant status, PERM labor certifications (including special handling for college and university teachers), I-140 immigrant petitions, and related permanent residency processes. Services also include case management such as preparation of required documentation for the United States Department of Labor (DOL) and United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), tracking filing deadlines, maintaining compliance records, monitoring visa expiration dates, and reporting capabilities necessary for institutional oversight. Period of Performance The term of the prospective contract is 8 years. Place of Performance Services will be performed at Eastern New Mexico University. Bidder Requirements The prospective contractor must demonstrate expertise in employment-based immigration for institutions of higher education. This includes experience managing H-1B and PERM labor certification cases, the ability to maintain continuity of representation for multi-year federal immigration matters, secure handling of confidential employee records, capability to track and report on active cases, and familiarity with institutional compensation structures.
