Background The Village of Angel Fire is seeking to establish a contract for on-call electrical services to support municipal facilities, infrastructure, and related assets. The goal of this contract is to ensure that the Village has access to reliable electrical services for maintenance, repairs, and emergency responses as needed. Work Details The Contractor shall provide on-call, as-needed electrical services which include: routine maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, replacement, emergency response, and limited new installation work at various locations as directed by the Owner. Specific services include: - Troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems - Repair, replacement, and installation of electrical panels, breakers, disconnects - Conduits, wiring, outlets, switches, junction boxes - Interior and exterior lighting systems including LED fixtures - Motors, pumps, controls - Compliance upgrades with current code requirements - Preventive maintenance and safety inspections - Coordination with utility providers - Minor electrical work associated with remodels or facility improvements. Emergency response services must be available with a maximum response time of 12 hours for issues such as power outages or electrical hazards. All work must comply with the National Electrical Code (NEC), New Mexico state codes, local ordinances, OSHA requirements and industry best practices. Period of Performance The contract will commence upon award and will continue until terminated by either party in accordance with the terms outlined in the contract. Bids are due by January 29, 2026. Place of Performance Services will be performed at various municipal facilities located in Angel Fire, New Mexico. Bidder Requirements Contractors must be licensed to perform electrical work in the State of New Mexico. All electricians must be trained and experienced in commercial and municipal electrical systems. At least one licensed journeyman or master electrician must supervise all work. The Contractor must also maintain adequate insurance coverage including Workers' Compensation.
