Background The Matanuska-Susitna Borough is seeking bids from qualified vendors to purchase and supply two full-size 4x4 Sport Utility Vehicles. Work Details The contractor will provide two identical 4x4 Sport Utility Vehicles that meet the following specifications: 1. General Requirements: - Suitable for transport on public roads, compliant with federal and state safety regulations. - Durable for various weather conditions in Alaska. - All components must be new and defect-free. 2. Minimum Specifications: - Size: Length 210-214 inches, Width 80-83 inches, Height 75-79 inches. - Interior Features: AM/FM radio with wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, integrated navigation; front bucket seats without center console; black or gray fabric; rubberized vinyl flooring preferred. - Exterior Features: Red color (preferably victory red); outside power mirrors; OEM backup camera; OEM trailer hitch; brake controller. - Operational Requirements: HVAC front and rear; minimum cargo space of 122 cubic feet; V8 engine; auto start; four-wheel drive; block heater; automatic transmission; factory or aftermarket auto start; -50-degree antifreeze protection; cruise control; power windows and locks; 4 keys/fobs; spare wheel/tire with jack/tools; full-length running boards; mud flaps front and rear. 3. Delivery and Warranty: - Vehicles to be delivered to 350 East Dahlia Avenue, Palmer, Alaska 99645 in ready-to-use condition. - A comprehensive warranty for all components of the vehicle for a minimum of 2 years. Period of Performance Delivery of the vehicles is required by June 1, 2026. Bidder Requirements Bidders must comply with state of Alaska Statutes 08.18 and 45.70. The contract is subject to local bidder preference if bids are within $2,000 or 5% of each other.
