Background The 176 Civil Engineer Squadron (176 CES) requires commercial vehicle rentals to support Deploy for Training (DFT) operations. The mission involves logistical movements and personnel transport to and from job and training sites. This acquisition is executed under the authority of the National Guard Bureau (NGB), deriving its procurement authority from the Department of the Army. Work Details The contractor shall provide all vehicles, maintenance, and non-personal services necessary to perform vehicle rental services as defined in this Performance Work Statement (PWS). The contractor must ensure all provided assets are fully operational, compliant with safety standards, and ready for pickup at the contractor's location. Specific tasks include: 1. Provision of Assets: The Contractor shall provide vehicles sufficient to transport approximately forty-five (45) personnel, consisting of three (3) to six (6) vehicles, a mix of pickup trucks and/or passenger vans. 2. Initial Inspection: A joint inspection will be conducted upon Government pickup at the Contractor's facility to document the material condition, fluid levels, mileage, and any existing damage to all assets. 3. Final Inspection: A joint inspection will be conducted upon the return of the vehicles to assess any damages beyond normal fair wear and tear. The Contractor is responsible for all preventative maintenance and mechanical repairs during the contract period. Period of Performance 30 May 2026 through 29 August 2026 Place of Performance Asset Pickup/Return at the Contractor's designated commercial facility; Operational Location at Seward Military Resort and surrounding training sites in Seward, Alaska.
