Background The National Park Service (NPS) is issuing this solicitation for the replacement of the Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Systems at the Liberty Square Visitor Center located in Fort Sumter National Historic Park, Charleston, South Carolina. The project aims to enhance the visitor experience by ensuring a comfortable environment within the facility. This procurement is set aside for 100% Small Disadvantaged Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). Work Details The contractor will be responsible for providing all materials, labor, tools, equipment, and supervision necessary for the complete replacement of the HVAC systems at the Liberty Square Visitor Education Center. The work includes but is not limited to: - Installation of new HVAC systems as per specifications outlined in attached construction documents. - Compliance with Davis Bacon prevailing wage requirements applicable to Charleston County, South Carolina. - Development and submission of a comprehensive Construction Safety Plan that meets local, state, and federal regulations. - Coordination with NPS staff to ensure minimal disruption during construction activities. - Completion of all work in accordance with project specifications and drawings provided in the solicitation documents. Place of Performance All construction work will take place at the Fort Sumter Visitor Education Center located at 340 Concord Street, Charleston, SC 29401.
