Background The Mendocino National Forest is seeking pest and rodent control treatment services at four administrative sites on the Grindstone Ranger District. The goal of this contract is to ensure that these sites remain free from pests such as rodents and roaches, adhering to recommended practices that minimize their attraction and harboring. The contract will consist of a base year with the potential for four additional option years. Work Details The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, transportation, supplies, and materials necessary for pest-control services at the specified sites. Services include: - Thorough treatment of areas with infestation or threatened infestation. - Regular extermination, trapping, and control procedures to maintain pest-free environments. - Use of environmentally safe materials for all control operations. - Provision of site-specific recommendations for structural and procedural modifications to aid in pest prevention. Treatments will occur at three sites year-round and at one site (Aler Springs Work Center) for six months each year (May to October). Operations are scheduled Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., with requests for alternate schedules permitted under certain conditions. Period of Performance The base contract period will commence on May 1, 2026, and conclude on June 30, 2027. There are options to extend the contract for up to four additional years. Place of Performance Pest and rodent control services will be performed at four administrative sites within the Grindstone Ranger District of the Mendocino National Forest.

This contract will be a base with potential 4 options years.
