Custodial Equipment

Background

Iowa State University of Science and Technology (ISU) is seeking qualified contractors to provide custodial equipment as part of its Facilities Planning and Management (FPM) initiative. The goal is to replace and enhance the existing inventory of janitorial equipment for custodial services across the ISU campus.

Work Details

Contractors are required to provide various types of custodial equipment, including but not limited to:

Autonomous Scrubbers

- Buffers - Burnishers - Extractors - Vacuums

Wet/Dry Vacuums

- Dehumidifiers - Stair Scrubbers. Each piece of equipment must meet or exceed specified performance standards and include necessary accessories such as chargers and batteries. Specific quantities requested include:

1 Dehumidifier

- 2 Stair Scrubbers. All equipment must be new models under standard production by the manufacturer and delivered fully assembled and ready to operate.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence upon award and is expected to be completed within a specified timeframe that will be determined at the time of award.

Place of Performance

The equipment will be delivered to Iowa State University located in Ames, Iowa.

Bidder Requirements

Contractors must comply with all specifications outlined in the RFQ documents. They are required to submit an itemized quotation including lead times and any volume discounts available. Additionally, they must provide training details for each piece of equipment bid and ensure that all parts necessary for operation are included. Contractors should also confirm their ability to meet warranty requirements and customer support expectations.
