Traffic Signal Pole Replacement (Trancas Street and Villa Lane)

Background

Work Details

The project involves the installation of a traffic signal pole and all associated hardware necessary for its operation. This includes but is not limited to: procurement and installation of the traffic signal pole, wiring, electrical connections, and any necessary structural supports or foundations as specified in the contract documents. The contractor must ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations during the execution of this work.

Period of Performance

The project must be fully completed within 20 working days from the start date set forth in the Notice to Proceed, tentatively expected to begin on June 15, 2026.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed at the corner of Trancas Street and Villa Lane, Napa, CA 94558.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must possess a valid California contractor’s license classified as C10 - Electrical Contractor. Additionally, bidders must be registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) to perform public work. Each bidder must submit bid security equal to ten percent of the maximum bid amount in the form of a cashier’s check or certified check made payable to the City or a bid bond executed by a surety licensed in California. All subcontractors must also be registered with DIR.
