Background The Louisiana Air National Guard, specifically the 159th Mission Support Contracting Office, has issued a requirement for a welding machine to support its operations. The goal of this contract is to procure a Miller Dynasty 800 TIG Welder or an equivalent product, which is essential for precision TIG welding of aerospace ground equipment, support equipment, and off-equipment aircraft components. This procurement aligns with the agency's mission to maintain and enhance its operational capabilities. Work Details The contract requires the delivery of one (1) Miller Dynasty 800 TIG Welder, 208-600 V, brand name or equal. The welder must include two (2) hand remotes and all necessary accessories to function as a complete welding system. The salient characteristics that the product must meet or exceed include: 1. Operates on 208-600 V input power, single-phase or three-phase. 2. Capable of precision TIG welding for aerospace ground equipment, support equipment, and off-equipment aircraft components. 3. Aluminum welding capability up to 1 inch. 4. AC frequency control. 5. Pulse or QuietPulse capability. 6. Lift-Arc capability. 7. Cooler power supply with Cooler-On-Demand auxiliary cooling system, or equal. 8. Two (2) wireless hand controls, Miller P/N 301582, or equal. 9. RCC-14 current control, or equal. 10. Program memory for multiple base metals. 11. All cables, connectors, accessories, and components required to provide a complete and functional system. 12. New equipment only; used, refurbished, gray-market, or remanufactured items are not acceptable. Place of Performance Delivery will occur at NAS JRB New Orleans, Belle Chasse, Louisiana.
