DPW Hickory Maintenance Facility Fuel Tank/Dock

Background

The St. Tammany Parish Government is seeking quotes for the DPW Hickory Maintenance Facility Fuel Tank/Dock project. This project involves the installation of fuel tanks and a fuel management system to enhance the facility's fuel storage capabilities while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for the turnkey delivery and installation of two (2) 5,000-gallon UL-2085 Fireguard Fuel Tanks or approved equal, and one (1) Automated Fuel Management System at the St. Tammany Parish Hickory Maintenance Barn located at 67835 Hwy 41, Pearl River, LA 70452. The work includes: - Furnishing and setting two (2) 5,000-gallon UL-2085 Fireguard tanks. - Installing all necessary tank top accessories for venting, filling, and monitoring. - Supplying and installing remote fill cabinets with overfill valves. - Providing weather-resistant gauges with glass gauges preferred. - Furnishing Fill-Rite (or approved equal) 110V pumps and installing necessary piping for these pumps. - Connecting remote pumps to a dispenser mounted on a horizontal tank plate. - Installing a new PV200 Fuel Management System that includes a Fuel Island Terminal with Proximity Card Reader compatible with existing ID badges, along with other necessary components like meters and pulsers. - Installing explosion-proof conduits from the circuit breaker panel to the PV200 FIT for communications and power. - Programming the new PV200 system parameters into existing software. - Designing and building necessary support systems for the tanks including concrete slabs and bollards.

Period of Performance

The project must be completed within sixty (60) calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed by the Parish.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed at St. Tammany Parish Hickory Maintenance Barn located at 67835 Hwy 41, Pearl River, LA 70452.

Bidder Requirements

Contractors must hold a Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction license if the estimated cost of work is $50k or more. A certified copy of a corporate resolution or evidence of authority is required if applicable.
