Background

The City of Waycross is seeking a contractor to provide pest control services for various city buildings. The goal of this contract is to ensure a pest-free environment in municipal facilities, aligning with the city's mission to maintain public health and safety.

Work Details

The Contractor shall provide pest control services for the following buildings: - City Hall (417 Pendleton Street) - CIU (1024 Alice Street) - Water Plant (512 Alice Street) - Warehouse (516 Alice Street) - Police Department (512 Oak Street) - City Auditorium (825 Pendleton Street) - Fire Stations #1-4 - Animal Shelter (1805 Blackwell Street) - Oakland Cemetery (2610 Alice Street) - Waste Water Treatment Plant (2900 Lakeview Drive) - Public Works Complex (629 Satilla Lane) - Tourism Building (407 Pendleton Street). Services will be performed every other month and include: - Interior and exterior treatments - Crack and crevice treatments - Rodent monitoring - Tamper-resistant bait stations - Removal of visible nests - Emergency response within 24 hours of notification. All products used must be EPA-approved and comply with Georgia Department of Agriculture regulations.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence upon award and will continue for a specified period, with services performed every other month.

Place of Performance

Services will be performed at multiple locations throughout Waycross, Georgia.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must comply with O.C.G.A. § 13-10-91 regarding E-Verify compliance and maintain a drug-free workplace as per O.C.G.A. § 50-24-1 et seq. There are no specific set-aside certifications mentioned.
