UK King's Daughters Medical Center - Greenup Co. Urgent Care/Family Care Medical Office Building

Background

UK King's Daughters Medical Center is seeking proposals for the construction of a new medical office building in Greenup, Kentucky. The project aims to enhance healthcare services in the area by providing a dedicated facility for urgent and family care. The contract is issued under BID NO. KD-3123.0-26, with specifications prepared by JRA Architects and approved by the Department of Supply Chain Operations.

Work Details

The project involves constructing a single-level building totaling 10,000 square feet, which includes: 1) A 3,500 square foot Urgent Care facility; 2) A 5,500 square foot Family Care Medical Office. Construction will include all necessary labor, materials, supplies, tools, appliances, and equipment as detailed in the provided specifications and drawings.

Period of Performance

The contractor is required to achieve Substantial Completion within 325 consecutive calendar days from the commencement date specified in the Work Order letter. Final Completion must be achieved within 30 days following Substantial Completion.

The construction will take place at 1448 Seaton Avenue, Greenup, Kentucky 41144.

Bidder Requirements

Bids must be submitted by Prime Contractors on a Lump Sum basis. All bids must include a bid guarantee of at least 5% of the base bid amount. A 100% Performance bond and a 100% Payment bond are required from the successful bidder. Contractors must submit their bids using official forms supplied by UK King's Daughters Medical Center and comply with all bonding and insurance requirements as outlined in the Bid Documents.
