Background

The Commonwealth of Kentucky, through the Kentucky Department of Veterans Affairs, is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) to provide mobile routine x-ray, diagnostic, and related services at the Carl M. Brashear Radcliff Veterans Center. The goal of this contract is to ensure that veterans receive timely and efficient medical diagnostic services on-site.

Work Details

The contractor will provide the following services: 1. All routine x-ray services; 2. Ultrasound (capable of performing on any requested body part); 3. All types of dopplers; 4. EKG; 5. ECHO; 6. Midlines; 7. PICC line; 8. Other related services as required by the Radcliff Veterans Center (RVC). Services must be performed by certified individuals in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The contractor must respond to service requests within four hours, preferably within two hours, and for STAT orders within one hour. Results must be read by a board-certified radiologist with written reports provided to the RVC within four hours for regular orders and one hour for STAT requests.

Period of Performance

The initial term of the contract is anticipated to be from July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2028, with options for renewal for up to two additional two-year periods.

Place of Performance

Services will be performed at the Carl M. Brashear Radcliff Veterans Center located at 100 Veterans Drive, Radcliff, KY 40160.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must be licensed to practice in Kentucky and registered with the Secretary of State prior to contract issuance. They must not be excluded Medicare/Medicaid providers and must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local guidelines. Proof of insurance liability documents is required along with a certificate of authority to conduct business in Kentucky if applicable.
