Background

The State of Alaska, Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (DMVA), Alaska Air National Guard is soliciting quotes from qualified vendors to provide one (1) 400Hz dual output solid-state Ground Power Unit (GPU). This equipment is necessary to support C-17 aircraft operations.

Work Details

The contract requires the provision of one 400Hz dual output solid-state Ground Power Unit (GPU) that meets or exceeds the specifications of the ITW GSE Model 2400 Solid State Frequency Converter. The specifications include: - Type: 3GWF-200/260-N - Part No.: 578.650 - Input: 3 x 460 V +/- 15%, 3 x 123 A +/- 15%, 3W+PE, 50/60Hz - Output: 200 V, 260 A, 90 kVA, PF1, 3W+N, 400Hz - Number of outputs: 2 (each rated at 90 kVA) - Weight: approximately 683 lbs - Fixed, upright unit. Vendors must provide product literature and ensure compliance with the “Build America Buy America” Act.

Period of Performance

The contract will be performed from the date of award until the delivery of the GPU. The deadline for receipt of quotes is set for June 3, 2026.
